Breaking Through is a semi abstract impasto celebration of the beauty of sunlight breaking through clouds on a wintery afternoon.

I was painting away in my studio and looked out the window to see the Sun appearing out from a raincloud with sunrays breaking through clouds and lighting up the sea below… I had to try and catch this sight…..

I applied lots of lovely lush paint with my palette knives

oil on board and is 20 x 20 x 3cm framed as shown
