First Snows of Winter is a view from half way up Djouce  Mountain in Wicklow looking out towards the coast, the sun was setting on a very cold day that had a smattering of snow… crisp, cold and exhilarating! the last rays of the Sun lit up the heavy snow clouds to very dramatic effect

I used my palette knifes to give texture and drama and I really enjoyed painting this painting and capturing that moment
