Moonlight & Windmills is a painting of the view from my garden out to sea with a bank of Windmills on the horizon, some nights when the sky is clear and the moon full, I love to watch the Moon rise over the horizon and into the dark blues of the sky, no matter how often I experience this, I am always captivated and awestruck by this sight..

I really enjoyed creating this painting with my palette knives, smearing on thick sweeps of paint and making the moon sing against the dark blues…
