I have always loved the flashes of bright golds/orchre of rapeseed fields in the landscape at this time of year  contrasted against the hedgerows and sky, the vibrant golden hues with the looming Thundery rain clouds against the blues of the sky and the dark greens of the hedgerows and trees make for a dramatic palette…I applied lots of lovely thick oil paint smeared on with my palette knives
