Sunset Tara Hill, Wexford  is from a series of original oil paintings of Tara Hill , this view is from the sand dunes at the top of Kilpatrick beach, a favourite spot of mine.
I had taken my dog for a walk as the sun was sun setting and the sight was spectacular, the sky was lit with glorious colour.
We just sat and watched as the sun faded away and the colours danced across the sky, I have always wanted to see the northern lights and that evening I felt I got a taste of them with the vibrant reds and oranges in the sky ..
