The Promise of a new day is inspired by the expanse of sea and horizon on view from my studio window on the Wicklow/Wexford border, it was a stormy day with moody clouds flying across the sky as a storm danced across the horizon and shafts of sunlight appeared and blue skies peeked through

There is something truly magical about a breaking storm and the promise of a fresh start, it always makes me feel thankful
