The Sunset Tree & The Sugarloaf is one of an on going series of paintings inspired by and based on the Sugarloaf in Co.Wicklow.. I grew up near it and it has always featured in my imagination both as a child and as a grown up
This painting is filled with a crisp blue sky with clouds dancing by and a lone tree standing proud..
I just love this mountain! It’s just so dramatic and I have so many childhood memories of it … a true Irish Landscape painting
