Tulip Daze Too is inspired by my series of recent wild flower paintings that grew out of the wild flower garden I sowed and the haven it created for insects, it’s such a treat to be able to sit and listen to the buzzing of the bees and see butterflies dance through the flowera
This painting celebrates the joyous colour of red tulips bathed in the sunlight of a warm day and the busy omings and goings of the insect world
Lots of lush thick paint layered on by palette knife to create sculpural like tulips , Bees and Butterflies
