I went for a walk along the cliffs near my home on a very stormy wintery afternoon and the wonderful array of subtle colour from the sea to the sky and how it was almost impossible to tell them apart was worth the very cold hands and face…
I drank in the sight and when I returned home I had to go straight to my easel and paint the experience, the result is this painting – 50 Shades of Grey – a winter seascape
