Breaking Light is from a series of works based on the amazing skyscapes just outside my window… I live on a headland and I have a panoramic view out to sea and I pass a lot of time watching the skies and clouds as they pass by…sometimes dashing past in a blur of grey other times they seem to idle past all white and fluffy but always eye catching…

This painting is of a lone cloud in a vast sky of summer blues that slowly drifted by its shadow casting shadows on the sea….
