Golden Harvest Sunrise is a painting of a view that is very close to my heart, looking out over fields towards Greystones from Wind gates on the slopes of Bray Head…

I grew up in Greystones and the distant view of Greystones as you came down Bray Head was always a family favourite, my Mum would always remark on it and gave us all a love of this view as we made our way home … I have painted this view before in rememberence of my Brother who also loved this view and every so often I like to revisit this view and paint it again for both My Mum and Brother.

I love the colours of Harvest fields, the golden ochres against the lush greens of the trees and hedgerows and when this is contrasted against the sea and sunrise sky, I find it magical….
