Morning Glory – Summer Sunrise is from a series of paintings inspired by the simple beauty of a summer sunrise..
I am so lucky to live near some beautiful sandy beaches and when I wake early enough I will go for a dawn stroll, this doesn’t happen often but when it does it is always completely awe inspiring,,,

I used sweeps of vibrant thick paint applied with palette knife to create mood and texture

This painting is oil on gallery wrapped canvas and although it is not framed the canvas edges are painted white and the painting is strung with cord on the back and so is ready to hang as is….
