Description

Rhododendron Rhapsody is filled with  the joy of spring colour, I have always loved thw Rhododendrons in The Botanic gardens at Kilmacurragh, Wicklow.

Walking around the gardens in May is like ambling through a palette of colourful paints, bold bright and cheery, it is hard not to smile when all the Rhodendrons are blooming

I used lots of thick oil paints applied by palette knife in a semi abstract style and enjoyed painting this homage to colour….

This painting is oil on perspex and will come framed as illustrated
