Sunrise Headland is from a series of semi abstract paintings inspired by an early morning sitting in my garden with a large mug of coffee and watching the sun rise over the horizon and light up the sky in blazing colour….

I live on a headland surrounded by the sea and open horizon on 3 sides so I am utterly spoilt in the mornings with the views of the sunrise out to sea and then in the evening I have the sunset over the distant Wicklow mountains and nearby Tara Hill and Croghan….
The contrast between the blues/purples of the sea and sky against the reds/oranges of the sunrise and its reflected light was truly breathtaking…
This painting is oil on board and comes framed as shown and is 60 x1 x 51 x 3 cm framed as shown
