The green green fields of Croghan Mountain is a painting of the fields and distant peak of Croghan Mountain that I can see from my home on the borders of Wicklow and Wexford on the East coast of Ireland..
I have recently rediscovered my palette knife and I am really enjoying using it in conjunction with my normal brushes, I am loving the way I can apply sweeps of lush paint and the contrast between the different marks from the brush and the palette knife has a lovely balance.

This painting is oil on board and it is float mounted and framed as shown
