Bluebell Abstractions is a painting inspired by a walk with my dogs in the woods at Courttown in Wexford , the combination of the carpet of bluebells and wild garlic with the the greens and splashes of blue sky and light through the trees made for a glorious sight and a really lovely walk..
I got home and started to paint a series of works inspired by this morning ramble, with this painting I wanted to focus on the play of light and vibrant colour of the the bluebells and grasses close up…
