Description

Eclipse Moon Rising is inspired by the recent Blood moon eclipse, this painting is of the moon earlier on in the night as it climbed into the sky…I stayed in the garden watching, taking photos and sketching as the ecliose unfolded it was bloodly freezing but worth it!
I live on the east coast of Ireland on a headland so I get the most amazing views of the sea and horizon on 3 sides and the Wicklow Mountains on the fourth side and I got to see the whole path of the moon on the night…
