I love all the little coves and rocky cliffs along the coast near my home, each one is filled with character and a wild beauty

Sunrise shores is a celebration of an early morning walk with the dogs that ended in a cup of tea from the flask sitting in one of these coves.

There was a bright blue sky and the sea had a slight swell with small breaking waves, I used lots of thick paint smeared on with my palette knives to capture the feelings of that moent back in my studio.
