The Happy Lone Tree is a painting of a Tree casting a shadow on a sunny day with a clear bright blue sky in the background, the Tree looked like it was soaking up all the sunrays, you could almost see it grow as it sunbathed..
I used lots of Lush paint applied with Palette knifes to create a textured 3d surface, to suggest the abundance of growth and energy of that afternoon, all the lovely greens of the Tree surrounded by the scorched golden colour of the surrounding grass..
