The Turquoise sea and the Summer Sunrise is filled with the soft light of a sunrise and is one of a series of semi abstract paintings inpsired by the sunrise over the sea that i am lucky enough to see as often as I can

I am surrounded by the sea on 3 sides and out of every window is the sea and horizon  some mornnings I get up and view the sunrise from the garden and somedays i just pull back the curtains and watch it out the window and of course some days I stay asleep!

I am always captivated with the soft light and other worldliness of a peaceful morning and have to capture the atmospheric light and feeling of that moment…

It is amazing how much each day with its own sunrise differs from the next and each day has it’s own surprise and delight

This original painting is oil on board and is float mounted and framed as shown

Framed the painting is 28 x 28 x 4cm
