I stood in my garden watching as the clouds danced across the sky on a wintery showery afternoon filled with atmosphere, this painting is my tribute to that afternoon and its fleeting beauty and the seeming promise of light…. every cloud has its silver lining!

One side of the sky was dark stormy snow filled clouds and the other side had the sun trying to peep out and its rays of light lit up the world below like a torch
