Dancing Clouds and breezy skies over Croghan Mountain is filled with light and movement, I am lucky enough to have a view of this Mountain and I love to watch the clouds swirl by on a breezy day, the light and shadow crossing the colourful slopes of this local landmark on the Wicklow and Wexford borders on the south east coast of Ireland..
The Peak of Croghan dominates the skyline and always catches my eye, this painting is full of texture and drama as I applied sweeps of paint with my palette knifes against flatter areas of smooth paint layered on with my brushes…
This painting is oil on mdf board and comes float mounted and framed as shown and is 57 x 41 x 3cm framed
