White sails on a blue day is from a series of works inspired by many hours of sitting in my garden drinking Tea and watching boats come and go up and down the coast, I am lucky to live on a headland and I have a sea view on 3 sides and from the back garden I have a view over the nearby cliffs out to sea and sometimes on the very odd occasion the cliffs of Wales….

In the summer I love the feeling of never ending blues skies and the sails of the sailing boats seam to glitter like jewels against all the blues of the sea and sky…..
