In June this year I had the pleasure of travelling to Wray Castle on the shores of Lake Windemere in the Lake district in England to take part in a heat of the SKY Landscape artist of the Year competition and what a fanastic experience that was… it was along day of painting in the most beautiful surroundings and surrounded by a great number of very talented artists…

I appeared briefly in the final cut of the heat I participated in and although I didn’t make it to the semi finals and day was a total success with 2 finished paintings and an offer of a solo show next April at Crook Hall & Gardens in Durham England…
